Per person, all-inclusive. We handle everything — the bungalow and permits, safari and park fees, guiding, the jeep, every meal, drinking water, groceries and all the small logistics. We do not resell the DWC bungalow or any single component of the trip — we build one complete guided tour around it. You just show up.

Prime leopard territory. Positioned near a permanent water source that draws leopards year-round. One of the best spots in Wilpattu for big cat encounters.
After dark: The permanent water source draws nocturnal visitors nightly — fishing cats, civets, and mouse deer are regularly spotted around the bungalow after dark. Leopard calls echo through the forest.
Lunuwewa Bungalow
Best for: Central location
Wildlife: Birds, elephants, deer, crocodiles

Right in the middle of the park — getting around is easy from here. On the edge of one of Wilpattu's largest lakes with excellent birding and regular elephant sightings.

After dark: Deep in the interior, the dormitory compound sees regular night visitors — slender loris in the trees, civets foraging along the perimeter, and occasional leopard calls in the distance.
Kokmote Bungalow
Best for: Multi-day stays & leisure
Wildlife: Elephants, crocodiles, birdlife

Beside a river where you can take a dip between safaris. The best choice for stays longer than one night — combining wildlife with a touch of relaxation.

All meals are prepared at the bungalow, with drinking water, tea, coffee, snacks, fresh fruit and your groceries all covered. Dietary requirements accommodated on advance notice.

Nighttime
Nocturnal animals frequently visit the bungalow after dark. Sleep under mosquito nets to the sounds of the jungle.

DWC Bungalow (Inside the Park)
When day visitors leave at sunset, Wilpattu belongs to the night shift. Sleeping inside means the nocturnal world is right outside your door.
Leopard Calls at Night
Leopards are most vocal after dark. From your bungalow you will hear their rasping calls echoing through the forest.
Night Sounds
The bungalow veranda is the best seat in the park after the gates close — listen for leopard sawing, owls, and the nocturnal chorus. Organised walking is not permitted after hours.
No Drives — The Advantage
Night drives are prohibited inside Wilpattu. Staying inside means you experience the night on foot, not through a windshield.
